this edition, we are pleased to announce a novelty that was implemented on
initiative of certain members and in collaboration with them: the label "100 %
recyclable".

1. What are the objectives of the label “100 % recyclable”?The label "100 % recyclable" certifies that: - the packaging can be collected by the existing collection systems in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg,
- the packaging can be sorted in the sorting facilities of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and sorting has been or can be proven on a large scale,
- the packaging is 100 % recyclable in an economically efficient and ecologically sound manner. Recycling has been or can be proven on a large scale.

2. What packaging materials are eligible to join the label?The label will initially be accessible for plastic household packaging only. After an introductory and dissemination phase as well as an interim review with the members who participated in this launch, we will assess whether access to the label can be opened up for other packaging materials.

3. What does the visual identity (logo) of the label look like? |

4. The voluntary membership charterThe label is ruled by the adhesion to the voluntary charter of the label “100 % recyclable” which determines the objective, the conditions of adhesion and withdrawal, the conditions of use as well as the commitments of the packaging responsible and Valorlux within the framework of the label “100 % recyclable”.

5. How to join? The process is simple:
- You notify Valorlux of your intention to adhere to the voluntary membership charter of the label “100 % recyclable”.
- Then, you will be invited to sign and return the charter, while communicating to Valorlux the packaging materials, as well as the technical sheets of the products and packaging on which you wish to affix the visual identity of the label “100 % recyclable”.
- After verification and validation of the packaging on which you wish to put the label “100% recyclable”, Valorlux will send you all the graphic elements you need to put the logo on the validated packaging.

6.
How
is the logo “100% recyclable” graphically designed
?
The label has been developed taking into consideration the five fundamental principles of the Guidelines for Providing Product Sustainability Information. These guidelines were issued by the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) and its Consumer Information Program. These five principles are: reliability, relevance, clarity, transparency and accessibility.

7. When will the label be launched?The launch is scheduled for the last quarter of 2020.
